It's All About The "Ewwww"

is it just me, or is anyone else completely creeped out by this chick? especially when she says "and sometimes... it's all about the gooold" (cut to me, climbing the walls)
but nothing, nothing makes me want to punch the t.v. more than those freakin' yoplait girls with their "this is day at the spa good" or "this is secret admirer good.." how about "this is finally took a dump good?
and so endeth this crappy, somewhat dated, and needlessly vulgar post...

I don't know why, but the overstock chick always sounds vaguely menacing to me, in a Teutonic, S & M, Ilsa the Wicked Warden kind of way.

One of my friends and I always freestyle on the annoyingly wholesome yoplait template, like extended cunnilingus session good, or entire bottle of red wine in one sitting good.

(Um. I think I just succeeded in upping the vulgarity quotient of your post like 100 times over. You might want to stay anonymous until a tenure-track position has been secured.)

I'm so with you on this. I loathe the Yoplait commercials. They make me want to crawl out of my skin.

Not to play advocatus diaboli here, but given the suggestion for Yoplait by "weaker vessel" (extended cunnilingus good"), doesn't anyone else see a similar undertone in Overstock.com? It's all about the "O"??? Anymore obvious and she would be using a vibrator during the advert ... that she just bought at a really good price.

i want to slap the shit out of the yoplait girls (what's up with them, anyway?)

and i abhor the "o" girl... for me it's all about the "o... no. i will not be shopping on your website"...

but, what about the orbit gum chick? is it just me, or is she freaky, too? (hatehatehate those commercials) : )

Simply because I think it may help me to curry favor and ingratiate myself with our hostess, I will cut and paste a comment about the Orbit gum chick from my own blog archives:

"What is it about Brits in advertising that forces Americans to fall into docile submission? Every time that that Orbit chewing gum girl crisply enunciates "No matter what," all I can do is nod gravely and say to myself, you know, she's right. She's absolutely right."

And I also agree with Betty Sue that there is something weirdly post-coital about the Overstock chick's Teutonic purr.

Um and didn't she sing or something...

Thanks for the visit!
